„Ask the lawyer“- PASCHEN are presenting themselves at the job fair in Berlin

This year PASCHEN Rechtsanwaelte is represented for the first time at the job fair Berlin. On the 19th and 20th of October, 13.500 interested job applicants used their chance to present themselves in front of the 90 exhibitors at the Mercedes-Welt at the Salzufer. Besides the general program with a check of the application documents and an application photo service, this year there was an information point called “Ask the lawyer” for the first time.

The Berliner Morgenpost also reported online: „ New is the program item “Ask the lawyer”. The job fairs´ organizers therefore invited “Paschen Rechtsanwaelte” to answer questions about labor law. In several lectures one of the lawyers offers practical insights into labor law aspects of the application and recruiting process and afterwards answers questions about the topic.”

These practical insights were given by attorney at law Jürgen Baumeister, specialist attorney in labor law, in his informative lecture on “The General Act on Equal Treatment – from the application selection process to the certificate. With the help of demonstrative examples he presented the audience different problems in job advertisements and encouraged them to question negatively impacted, but often used, clauses in their work certificates. Furthermore the visitors´ questions about labor law were answered by the lawyers of PASCHEN at the information point “Ask the lawyer”.

All in all the job fairs´ visitors responded favorably to both the lectures of attorney at law Jürgen Baumeister and “Ask the lawyer”. As the only law firm at the fair, PASCHEN also presented itself with his stand as an attractive employer for legal assistants and trainees.
