BvCM regional event north in Wolfsburg – Credit Management Praxis Update 7

Traditionally in September the Federal Association for Credit Management BvCM e.V. invited together with PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte and BAUKING AG to their credit management autumn update to Autostadt Wolfsburg. Numerous business leaders, commercial managers, credit managers and specialized service providers were once again interested in the current themes and trends.

At the beginning of the afternoon the focus of the credit managers was on current legal changes. In addition to the lecture of attorney at law Timo HarlandCreditreform Magdeburg about new information duties for creditors in the debt collection field, attorney at law Anja BeyerPASCHEN Rechtsanwälte Munich extensively presented the multifaceted consequences of the implementation of the New European consumer law for businesses in the B2C sector

About the future task of Working Capital Management as well as the resulting interesting new approaches for the Credit Management reported Oliver Kuschel, CFA managing board of the ConSource AG.

A deeper insight into the various risks of insolvency law was finally provided by attorney at law Michael SchmidtPASCHEN Rechtsanwälte Berlin and leader of the BvCM insolvency practice group with the special topic of small businesses – “Insolvency within the insolvency”. He vividly showed the participants which risks for creditors are threatening to happen with the enabling of the freelance function of the insolvency debtor through the insolvency administrator.

At the end the participants agreed that the exchange of information as well as experiences provides substantial benefits for the daily work. The next Update will take place in the Autostadt in May 2015.
