Corporate lawyers recommend PASCHEN in insolvency law – for the eleventh year in a row

Once again this year, PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte ranks among the leading law firms in insolvency law in the Kanzleimonitor 2026-2027 study published by the German Institute for Legal Departments and Corporate Lawyers (diruj).

In fact, PASCHEN has now been among the most recommended firms in insolvency law for eleven consecutive years. As a specialised firm, it ranks on a par with renowned firms such as Luther and TaylorWessing.

Moreover, the recognition comes at a critical time for many companies. In the first half of 2026, Creditreform recorded around 12,900 corporate insolvencies in Germany. This is the highest half-year figure since 2013. At the same time, creditor losses already amounted to around 28.5 billion euros. Interconnected supply chains are particularly at risk. Here, the insolvency of one customer can quickly drag other companies down with it. For suppliers, it is therefore increasingly important to secure receivables early. In addition, they need to act quickly when a customer runs into trouble.

Our founding partner Lutz Paschen comments: “Being recommended for eleven years in a row is not something we take for granted. Rather, it is the result of many mandates in which we have overcome difficult situations together with our clients. This continuity is important to us, especially in economically turbulent times. We would like to thank everyone who recommended us and look forward to continuing our work together.”

Now in its 14th edition, the Kanzleimonitor is based on 10,937 recommendations from 828 companies. These companies come from 28 industries, and their recommendations cover 32 areas of law. Notably, all recommendations come exclusively from the companies’ own legal departments. As a result, they reflect personal experience of working with the law firms.
