BvCM Regional Event North in Wolfsburg – Credit Management Practice Update 9

Once again, the ninth edition of the Credit Management Practice Update on 26 April 2016 in Wolfsburg’s Autostadt included the latest developments, new perspectives  and interesting insights into credit management. More than 50 participants from the financial domain of medium-sized companies and several corporations attended the event for which invitations  have been issued jointly by BvCM, PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte and Bauking AG.

Much attention was devoted to the lecture of Bozidar Radner from Buchalik Brömmekamp Unternehmensberatung GmbH. By the example of the “turnaround” company Wellemöbel he showed how a company in insolvency plan proceedings should communicate with its creditors and get back on its feet again. Frank Schabel presented the topic credit management in a new and interesting view through a study of HAYS Recruiting experts worldwide. He showed how the field finance & accounting will change in the long term based on the increasing digitalization. Marco Bahl from the law firm Höweler Rischmann & Partner mbH explained how problematic claims are to be handled financially and for tax purposes.

Attorney at law Lutz Paschen, head of the BvCM capital office, finally updated the audience about the reform of avoidance of transactions in insolvency proceedings. He was optimistic that the legislative procedure could be finalized before the parliament’s summer break.

Besides the speaker’s lectures the informative afternoon was a welcome platform for all participants for intensive networking and exchange of experiences. The next Credit Management Practice Update will take place in spring 2017 in the Autostadt.
