BvCM Eastern-Germany Regional Event for the first time in Dresden

Its outstanding position in the sectors of economy and science makes the self-proclaimed “city of excellence” Dresden one of the economically most prosperous cities in Germany. Therefore, it was high time for the Eastern-Germany Regional Event of the Bundesverband Credit Management (BvCM) to take place here. On 27th March 2017 more than 60 participants accepted the invitation of the Creditreform Dresden Aumüller KG in the capital of Saxony.

Four speakers informed participants on the latest developments in credit management. The entertaining lecture of Ronny Müller, Head of corporate customers for small and medium-sized companies of the Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden, particularly received a great deal of attention.  He showed the influencing factors of company ratings and gave in-depth information. For example, he explained the occurrence of sudden price drops, and told the participants, who were mainly from the financial sector, that customer trust in a bank is the be-all and end-all of a good bank rating.

The lecture of Michael Schmidt, attorney at law and leader of the BvCM insolvency practice group, also generated a lot of interest. He presented the reformed law on the avoidance of transactions in insolvency proceedings that will come into force soon, and gave valuable advice on ways of handling the new regulations. BvCM manager Rudolf Keßler also gave an informative and competent report on the basics and instruments for successfully handling receivables. Finally, Thomas Schulz from the Creditreform Dresden Aumüller KG talked about the development and current situation of companies in Saxony.

For the next year, another Eastern-Germany Regional Event in Dresden is planned. The exact date will be announced in good time.
