Twenty years of commitment to Legal Claims Management

PASCHEN will celebrate its twentieth corporate anniversary this year. The company started in 1993 when the founding partners united in Leipzig as a law firm focusing on qualified legal claims management from the very beginning.

At a time when using a facsimile was regarded as highly advanced communication and the first graphical web browser has just been invented, the young law firm already focused on the question of how one could optimize workflows with IT-support. It was the very lawyers themselves who acted as programmers in order to draft monthly reports for clients with the help of the software F&A.

In the course of the years, IT-based media advanced dramatically. However, the law firm – already having two offices in Leipzig and Berlin – and its mandates kept the pace of such development. After founding partner Mr. Berendes left the law firm in 2003, Berendes & Paschen became PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte, transforming into a registered partnership and relocated its headquarters to Berlin. In the following years, offices in Cologne, Frankfurt and Olching/Munich opened consecutively.

Supporting over 1.200 companies in Germany, Europe and Asia today, PASCHEN is one of the leading providers of legal claims management in the B2B sector in Germany. The 2003 launched online portal debit.control is meanwhile supporting clients in its third generation. Furthermore, a great part of clients is communicating with PASCHEN by means of specialized interfaces – such as encashment – directly from their accounts receivable management systems or ERP software.

It remains imperative for us to meet highest quality requirements, exceeding significantly the requirements of our quality management certification pursuant to DIN ISO 9001/2008.
