Credit Management Praxis Update 6

Recognized as a high quality professional dialogue of expertise, the sixth Credit Management Praxis Update under the lead of BvCM  regional coordinator Andreas Lüer, BAUKING AG and PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte on the 8th of April lead once again an array of interested participants into the impressive Autostadt Wolfsburg.

By popular demand Prof. Martin Grothe, CEO of complexium GmbH and author of the 2013 published reference book “Social Media & Controlling – The role of the controller on his way to a new company age”, started the afternoon with the question, “what possibilities the Social Web offers for the creation of security (limit) profiles for existing as well as potential customers.” The number of interesting possible approaches offers further specialization opportunities in the future.

Afterwards attorney at law Lutz Paschen, PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte and BvCM capital city representative commented on the legal basis of the retention of title in Germany as well as other legal orders. He showed the opportunities as well as the limits of this security element in Europe as well as for Germanys most important trade partners in export transactions.

With a contribution to the still little used in Germany Excess of Loss credit insurance, Christian Vollbehr, Head of Trade Credit, AIG Europe Limited pointed out the similarities but especially the differences to traditional credit insurances.
