Construction contract law seminar series successfully launched

Due to the positive response of participants last year, practical seminars about Construction contract law will also be performed nation-wide in 2015 under the leadership of the leading cooperation in the electrical branch e-masters. The opening event was held on the 12^th of March 2015 in Bremerhaven. As in the previous year Dr. Jörg Schudnagies, lawyer specializing in Construction and Architect law and Head of PASCHEN´s practice group construction projects & real estate, gave a lecture on practice relevant strategies and ways of enforcing and securing of legitimate claims.

A number of interested owners, managing directors and project and construction leaders of electronic businesses already took advantage of hearing Dr. Jörg Schudnagies talk about characteristics of the general construction law last Thursday. He provided first hand practical and easy to adapt assistance in a clear and structured way.

Thematically he was able to span an arc from the conclusion of the contract on the different contract types, security instruments as well as defect claims in the purchase contract up to the judicial enforcement of the claim. Additionally the impact of the EU consumer protection guideline for craft businesses was first discussed. Interesting precedent cases from his professional practice rounded up the event up and opened up the possibility for lively debate with the participants.

Particular praise was given to the proven combination of theory and practice by the participants. The next seminar on May the 7^th 2015 will take place in Mönchengladbach.
